Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid heartfelt tribute to the late Dau Dular Singh Mandaraji on his birth anniversary, remembering him as the torchbearer of Chhattisgarh\u2019s rich folk art tradition and the \u201cfather of Nacha\u201d.<\/p>\n
In his message, the Chief Minister stated that Dau Mandaraji not only revived the traditional folk form \u2018Nacha\u2019 but also transformed it into a powerful medium of \u201csocial awareness and cultural expression\u201d by taking it to the masses. He organised and brought together rural folk artists, giving Nacha a renewed identity and dignity. Through his efforts, this art form evolved beyond entertainment into a platform for \u201cpublic awareness and positive social change\u201d.<\/p>\n
He said that through lifelong dedication and perseverance, Dau Mandaraji kept the folk culture of Chhattisgarh alive and worked tirelessly to preserve it. His contribution will always be remembered as an integral part of the state\u2019s \u201ccultural heritage and identity\u201d.<\/p>\n
